What is Drake Accounting Software?
Drake Accounting is accounting and payroll software built for firms that want to manage everyday financial work from one system. It helps handle bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, forms processing, and financial reporting, making it a practical option for firms that serve multiple clients. Drake presents it as a fully featured accounting and payroll solution for firms seeking an affordable way to deliver these services.
The software supports double-entry accounting and includes reporting tools that help firms review financial data with more clarity. Drake highlights reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, payroll reports, and drill-down reporting features that make it easier to analyze details and track financial activity.
For firms moving from another system, Drake Accounting also supports data import and conversion workflows. Users can import data from QuickBooks, Sage 50, and Intuit EasyACCT, and export accounting data to Drake Tax, which helps create a more connected accounting and tax workflow.
