Women’s day is all about empowering women from all walks of life and making sure that they get equal opportunities by eliminating the hurdle of gender bias.
Ace Cloud Hosting supports the theme for women’s day 2020 – “I Am Generation Equality.”
This theme of international’s women’s day 2020 declares equality realizing equal rights for the women. It also marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
The theme is lined up with the new multigenerational campaign of the United Nations, which will be bringing together people of all ages and genders to work together for creating a world where all are treated EQUAL.
A common global agreement is that despite some regular attempts done to make the position of women stronger in society, the misconception that women are only limited to household work is still prevalent in society. The main focus would be to conserve rights based on economic justice, reproductive health, feminist action, among others for climate justice.
In today’s world, some industries are trying to maintain an equal Women to Men ratio in their workplace. The accounting industry can be considered a good example where women are being given a fair chance to achieve the epitome of success.
According to a survey by Catalyst, 60.6% of accountants and auditors in the United States are women. Not only this, but they are 51% of full-time staff at CPA firms.
Women are now an integral part of the government as well as the private sector. With these statistics coming in, we can surely see the nature of the business to be changing, and the day is not far when we will achieve gender equality all over the globe.
