Intuit offers QuickBooks Enterprise as a desktop application to its users. It is designed to manage financial tasks, including organizing payrolls, bills, payments, inventories, and more to businesses of all sizes.
QuickBooks Enterprise is available only via an annual subscription (starting from the year 2014), i.e., users are no longer able to buy the accounting application at a one-off cost.
However, it doesn’t imply that the software is making a shift to a cloud-based application. The QuickBooks application will be accessible both through downloading it on the local server and by hosting it on the clouds of third-party hosting providers.
Users can choose from three subscription plans mentioned below depending upon the business requirements:
1. QuickBooks Enterprise 2020 Silver Edition
It is a starter pack for businesses that offers basic functionalities, business insights along with advanced reporting options to its users. The users can also add the Enhanced Payroll service by paying $1/day.
The price of the Silver Edition, as mentioned on Intuit’s website, is $1091.70/year.
2. QuickBooks Enterprise 2020 Platinum Edition
This QuickBooks Enterprise Platinum pack comes with advanced inventory, advanced pricing, and enhanced payroll in addition to the functionalities offered in the Silver edition.
The price of Platinum Edition is $1746.00/year, as mentioned on the Intuit’s official website.
3. QuickBooks Enterprise 2020 Diamond Edition
It is the most robust accounting package with maximum functionalities for its users. It offers Assisted Payroll and TSheets Elite service along with the features of the Platinum edition.
The Diamond Edition can be purchased by paying the price of $3442.88/year.
QuickBooks Enterprise software has a ‘kill switch’ due to which application will stop working, in case it expires and/or not renewed on time.
Users can choose to pay the annual subscription in a single go or on a monthly payment basis. This subscription fee also includes a free QuickBooks Support Desk that helps in troubleshooting any application related issues.
QuickBooks Enterprise software might seem expensive, but a wide range of features and services offered justifies the price one pays for it.
