How to reset screen resolution in RDP?

      To reset the screen resolution in RDP, you need to change the screen resolution in your local desktop first.

      Note: You can’t change display settings from remote session.

      Using User Interface Method:

      1. On your local desktop, right-click in the space and click Display settings.

      2. Select the resolution you wish to apply to your remote session.

      3. Select Keep changes to apply the new resolution size.

      4. When you log in back to your remote desktop, you will find the new resolution applied.

      Using Command Prompt Method:

      Follow the steps mentioned below to rescale the application icon or text size on the server using the command prompt method:

      1. Open the 2016TextSize.bat file.

      Note: 2016TextSize.bat file is already present on the desktop for the shared servers but for the dedicated servers, the user needs to contact the Ace Support Team.

      2. Choose a desired scale for the text size by entering its corresponding number as indicated in the list.

      3. Log off to apply the new text size. Once you log back in, you should see the new text size applied.
