How to Convert From Quicken to QuickBooks

Some Invaluable Considerations:

We cannot convert a Quicken for DOS 1-4 file into a QuickBooks for Windows file. We must either upgrade our Quicken file to a newer version of the software or start a new company file.

Here are the underlying steps which you need to follow in order to convert from Quicken to QuickBooks.

1.    Open QuickBooks.

2.    Choose the File menu.

3.    Choose Utilities.

4.    Choose Convert.

5.    Choose  the Quicken option.

6.    Select the Quicken .QDF file

7.    We want to convert. (We will also need to convert the .QEL, .QPH, and .IDX files.)
